What is USSSA Baseball?

United States Specialty Sports Association is one of the largest youth baseball tournament sanctioning bodies in the country hosting events in all 50 states. USSSA baseball is one of the most recognizable brands in youth travel baseball, but specifically in the South where they host more baseball and softball tournaments than anyone else. USSSA works with tournament directors to host high quality baseball tournaments that show a true commitment to the players, coaches, and spectators.Sports Force Parks on the Mississippi is proud to partner with USSSA baseball tournaments in Mississippi to host seven events this Spring and Summer in Vicksburg!

How are points awarded by USSSA?

Once a team is sanctioned with USSSA, they are eligible to start earning points by participating in the USSSA baseball schedule.For every youth travel baseball tournament they play in, the team will earn points based on their performance.The more tournaments a team plays in, the more points they are able to accrue toward larger invitational, regional, and World Series competitions. There are also a number of special events where teams can earn double points for participating, such as the Riverboat Rumble and Memorial Day Classic.
